Since I normally make my kids use washable markers, it was quite exciting for them to be allowed to use a juicy, permanent Sharpie! This completely distracted from the fact that we were not actually CARVING the pumpkins!
My daughter's pumpkins. She confessed that she got a little too carried away with creative enthusiasm and drew on her older brother's pumpkin. He ended up putting his design on the back (with freckles! very cute) but he did not want me to take a picture of it.
My middle boys' pumpkins. Very scary indeed.
